Hard Drive Shortage to affect PC Deliveries for year end

Recent rain storms affecting Thialand will have an impact on desktop and laptop availability in the fourth quarter of this year.  About half the hard drives used in the world are manufactured in Thialand.  The plants had to be closed due to flooding and are scheduled to be offline for at least several weeks.  The result will be a hard drive shortage that will affect product availability between now and the end of the year.  Get your orders in early to ensure you get the computers you need!

Last Virus Threat is deadly

The latest virus threat we have encountered, the bloodhound.exploit, is the most serious virus threat to hit out customer’s networks in the past several years. In addition to infecting the machine that opens an infected e-mail or visits an infected web site, the virus spreads itself through network connects and can infest a customer’s server. The malware seeks user names and passwords and financial data on the infected machines. The virus damages the Master Boot Record causing the computer to display symptoms of a bad hard disk after rebooting. The result may be a need to reload the operating system.
